Facebook Mafia Wars players have another set of collectibles to search for and vault. Just like the other territories in Mafia Wars, while in Bangkok doing jobs players will be awarded with different items that are a part of collections.
Once the entire set is discovered players can vault the collection and receive a reward such as an energy boost to use later in game play. Collections may be vaulted more than one time and items within the collection can be gifted to other players.
Bangkok Collections
Bangkok collections are Chinese theme based items that are located throughout the territory in various jobs. Some are mystery drops that are sent to you by friends and some are special collections that are only available during certain times of the game. The remaining collections are located at different levels of game play and different jobs.
The collections are:
- Chess Set Collection: Episode One -Brawler: Chessboard, Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen, and King
- Mask Collection: Episode Two-Criminal: Agat-Talail’s Mask, Sukreep’s Mask, Phra Rams’s Mask, Indrachit’s Mask, Hanuman’s Mask, and Tosakantyh’s Mask
- Spices Collection: Episode Three- Pirate: Coriander, Garlic, Turmeric, Green Peppercorn, Holy Basil, Lemon Grass, Thai Chili
- Carvings Collection: Episode Four-Commandant Level: Wall Carving, Floral Statue, Dragon Statue, Decorative Nightstand, Lotus Bloom, Rearing Elephant, Stone Buddha
- Orchids Collection: Episode Five- Oyabun Level: Marco Polo, Grace Pink, Misteen, Jade Siam, Bom Gold, Bom Blue, Fatima
Players can collect more than one of each of these and re-vault for an added boost. Episode 5B, Dragon Head does not currently have a collection. As players well know, this could change.
Boost Rewards
As the collections are vaulted players are awarded a boost that can be used in game play later to help with fights, energy and stamina. The rewards are:
- Chess Collection: Episode One-Brawler: +5 energy on first vault; Chess Master (second vaulting) gives players an 8 point reduction in energy costs.
- Masks Collection: Episode Two-Criminal: +5 defense on first vault; War Paint (second vaulting) +32 attack skill
- Spices Collection: Episode Three-Pirate: +7 defense on first vault; Pepper Spray (second vaulting) +36 fight defense skill
- Carvings: Episode Four-Commandant: +4 attack; Chisel (second vaulting) +34 attack skill
- Orchids: Episode Five-Oyabun: +8 health; Boutonniere (second vaulting) +10% job payout
Players can easily amass extra attack skills, energy savings, and higher job payout by finding and vaulting the collections multiple times.
